On to the next project

Painting the girls' bathroom. Going from bright green to baby blue. We're sticking with the sea theme. Check back in a couple of days to see how it looks.

Iphone. I supposed he'll use

this as his reasoning to get the new

one.

Meet Max the chiweenie

My little garden friend

This little fella is out in the garden every afternoon when
I go out to water. He must really like the warm sun and the
cool spray of the water. His coloring is so gorgeous, a flaming
red-orange, I just had to get a picture of him. Some ancestor
of his was in our yard last year too, but I don't think it was him.
I don't think dragonflies live that long.

Rhubarb Pie - YUM!

start with about 4 cups of finely chopped rhubarb
I tried to be lazy and put it in the food processor, but
it sliced it vertically instead of diagonally and I ended
up throwing away about a 1/2 cup of rhubarb.

put your pie crust in the pie pan

mix rhubarb with sugar, flour, eggs and milk

bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes

remove from oven

mix egg whites, creme of tartar, sugar and vanilla

for a nice fluffy merenge, put it on the pie while it's

still warm. bake at 400 until the merengue is lightly

browned.

serve warm and eat quickly!!
