Gearing up!

All got hiking shoes, hiking pants and day packs today. We're all ready to go out hiking again. Our first trip was across the River Park parking lots from Sports Authority to REI.
Kind of difficult to tell the difference between my feet and the girls; they are catching up!
Steve is the one with the hairy legs!

First Camping Trip - Potwisha in Sequoia

Someone has been having fun here, but we figured

the water was a bit too chilly to try it.

5 minutes after this was taken we saw a California King

Snake on the trail, and Rachel swore she'd never go hiking

ever again. Luckily, that only lasted about an hour and she

was back.

One of many piles of bear poo, but we

didn't see a single bear.

Champion rock climber, she learned it's much

easier with jeans on than in shorts.
